This year's New in November is sponsored by grants from the Edward C. and Ann T. Roberts Foundation, the The Betty Knox Foundation, the CT Office of the Arts (COA) and with support from our generous donors.

Hartford Opera Theater is grateful for the ongoing support of Christ Church Cathedral, located at 45 Church Street, Hartford, CT 06103. This year our organizations are embarking on a full and multi-layer community partnership. To launch this exciting bond we will be holding our New in November festival in the main sanctuary of Christ Church Cathedral, which has been newly renovated to support community programming, and is complete with live stream capability, a grand piano, and newly installed lighting system. The Cathedral is accessible to all persons as the Main Street entrance provides a ramp, and an elevator lift provides access to a unisex restroom.

In line with the Cathedral rules for COVID-19 precaution, we will be requiring that, regardless of vaccination status, everyone wear a face mask when indoors. We will also be asking that each party seat themselves in a way that allows space between other groups in attendance. Please do not congregate in groups larger than 5 while inside, and maintain physical distancing of 6 feet from others not in your group. Also in line with Cathedral rules, we will be requiring that patrons attending NIN sign a waiver which alerts them to the inherent COVID-19-related dangers of attending an indoor event, and absolves Christ Church Cathedral and Hartford Opera Theater from responsibility should they contract the virus.

We look forward to hosting you at this celebrated annual event, and we celebrate the beginning of a long and fruitful partnership with Christ Church Cathedral as we continue to bring new, relevant, quality, accessible opera to Hartford.
